Prepare high-quality CAD and GIS drawings to support land agreements, planning submissions and project development activities.
Produce option plans, lease plans and red-line drawings for use in legal and commercial processes.
Develop initial solar PV and BESS layouts, site designs and constraints mapping.
Conduct early-stage site assessments and feasibility analyses.
Perform shading analysis and energy yield assessments using industry-recognised software.
Assist project teams by providing clear, accurate technical outputs and documentation.
Required Experience and Skills
The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
A degree (or equivalent relevant experience) in engineering, renewable energy, geography or a related field.
Approximately one or two years’ experience in CAD design and/or GIS analysis, preferably within the renewables, infrastructure, or built environment sectors.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D) and GIS platforms.
The ability to interpret technical information and translate it into clear visual representations.
Strong organisational skills, accuracy and attention to detail, particularly when managing multiple projects.
Desirable Skills
Experience with the following tools or domains is advantageous but not essential:
PVCase or other solar design software.
PVSyst or similar energy modelling applications.
Knowledge of solar PV and BESS technologies, components and system design.
Working Approach
Candidates are likely to demonstrate:
Strong organisational and detail-oriented working habits.
An analytical, inquisitive and solution-focused mindset.
A collaborative approach when working within multidisciplinary teams.
