Job description
We are currently recruiting an experienced Project Manager on behalf of a leading offshore wind contractor with a strong track record in the installation of foundations for large-scale offshore wind farms. This is a key leadership role responsible for the successful delivery of complex offshore installation projects, from planning through execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of offshore foundation installation projects.
Manage project teams across engineering, procurement, logistics, and offshore operations.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and risk management plans to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, technical specifications, and HSE standards.
Drive continuous improvement and lessons learned across project phases.
Support tendering and business development activities as required.
Requirements:
Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical discipline.
Proven experience managing offshore wind or marine construction projects, ideally involving foundation installation (monopiles, jackets, suction buckets, etc.).
Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Solid understanding of offshore construction methods, marine logistics, and vessel operations.
Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies (e.g., Primavera, MS Project, PMI/Prince2).
Right to work in the UK or EU.
Desirable:
Experience working with Tier 1 contractors or major offshore wind developers.
Offshore certifications (e.g., BOSIET, GWO) are a plus.
Knowledge of contract management (e.g., FIDIC, NEC).
