Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the engineering and technical coordination of marine cable installation projects from design through to commissioning.

  • Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards (e.g., DNV, ICPC).

  • Supervise offshore installation activities, including cable laying, burial, splicing, and testing, while ensuring HSE compliance.

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and vessel crews to resolve technical challenges and optimize installation methodologies.

  • Review and approve technical documentation, including cable route surveys, installation procedures, and risk assessments.

  • Strong knowledge of cable installation techniques, vessels, and equipment (e.g., ploughs, ROVs, tensioners).

  • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., CIGRE, FIDIC contracts) and marine regulations.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to work under pressure in offshore/remote environments.
