​Job Title: Principal Environmental Consultant

Location: Hybrid - Multiple UK-wide offices (London preference)

TGRC is currently looking for an experienced and talented Principal Environmental Consultant to join a renewable consultancy in London.

The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to be partnered with a leading multinational consultancy specialising in providing technical engineering and sustainability solutions to the manufacturing, infrastructure and built environment sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver and provide technical leadership on projects relating to decarbonisation pathways, including low-carbon technologies, energy efficiency, renewable energy, waste management, and sustainable procurement

• Gather, analyse and interpret datasets related to Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 emissions.

• Support the Engineering team in delivering low-carbon designs

• Identify decarbonisation project opportunities for the team to pursue and support business development efforts

• Act as a project lead and be responsible for task and output management

• Support more junior members of the team using your knowledge and industry experience

Your Profile:

• Experience in one of the following: BREEAM, Net Zero strategies, developing carbon reduction strategies through low carbon technologies, or energy networks and energy security experience

• Good understanding of UK and EU decarbonisation/Net zero frameworks and policy

• Strong stakeholder management skills with a demonstrable background in client-facing roles

• 10+ years of consulting experience in sustainability and carbon

• Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or Sustainability fields
