​Principal Civil Design Engineer - Power Generation Projects

The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to offer a unique opportunity for an experienced Principal Civil Design Engineer. This pivotal role involves working on a diverse portfolio of power generation projects, bringing your expertise and innovative approach to a range of large-scale initiatives.

Location: Milan, Italy

Contract Duration: 18 months

Hourly Rate: €60

Responsibilities:

• Leading civil engineering design for various power generation projects, including but not limited to wind, solar, and hydroelectric power.

• Overseeing project design from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to industry standards and project specifications.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and efficient project execution.

• Conducting structural analyses, site inspections, and design calculations.

• Managing project resources, schedules, and budgets effectively.

• Providing expert guidance and technical leadership to junior engineers and project stakeholders.

• Complying with local and international engineering standards and practices.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Demonstrated experience as a Civil Design Engineer, particularly in power generation projects.

• Proficiency in civil and structural design software and tools.

• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing engineering teams.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

• Fluency in English, with Italian language skills being a plus.

• Legal right to work in Italy.
