​Our client is a German clean-tech company specializing in sustainable energy storage solutions. They develop and manufacture high-performance battery storage systems using second-life lithium-ion batteries sourced from electric vehicles.

As a Civil Engineer for Construction Supervision and Project Management, you will play a key role in overseeing the successful delivery of grid-scale battery storage projects ranging from 5–100 MW. Working closely with our internal project management team and external planning offices, your responsibilities will include:

Key responsibilities:

• Acting as the client representative on construction sites for large-scale battery storage projects.

• Managing and supervising all phases of construction independently, from groundbreaking to commissioning.

• Coordinating all construction trades, with a primary focus on civil engineering activities.

• Conducting inspections and audits of construction works, including invoice verification and approval in accordance with VOB/BGB.

• Managing site acceptances, maintaining detailed documentation, and ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental standards.

• Supporting building applications, permits, and other regulatory approval processes.

• Providing technical support for construction tenders, including evaluating implementation plans, specifications, and contractor proposals.

• Liaising with external planning offices, specialist consultants, and local authorities to ensure smooth project execution.
