​Principal Civil Design Engineer - Power Generation Projects

The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to present a prime opportunity for a seasoned Principal Civil Design Engineer. This pivotal role involves working on a diverse portfolio of power generation projects, contributing your expertise and innovation to various large-scale initiatives.

Location: Hamburg, Germany

Contract Duration: 18 months

Hourly Rate: €60

Responsibilities:

• Leading civil design aspects for a range of power generation projects, including but not limited to wind, solar, and hydroelectric power.

• Overseeing project design from conception through to completion, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive and efficient project execution.

• Conducting and reviewing structural analysis, site inspections, and design calculations.

• Managing project resources, timelines, and budgets effectively.

• Providing expert advice and technical leadership to junior engineers and project stakeholders.

• Ensuring adherence to local and international engineering standards and practices.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Civil Design Engineer, with a strong background in power generation projects.

• Expertise in civil and structural design software and tools.

• Strong leadership skills and experience in managing engineering teams.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

• Fluency in English, with German language skills being advantageous.

• Legal right to work in Germany.
