Job description

The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to have partnered with a global renewable energy investment platform, focused on Battery Storage, Solar & Wind projects.

The business are a Joint Venture between a leading, energy trading company & large investment firm, with a $108 billion in funds under management, worldwide.

The business seek an Asset Management & Post Acquisitions Lead, to oversee the operational & commercial management of their Clean Technology Portfolio (BESS, Solar & eventually, onshore Wind).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the operational performance of the clean energy portfolio, ensuring that the technical and operational performance of all assets meets or exceeds the investment case, and implementing suitable rectification plans where this is not the case.

  • Optimizing output and returns across the solar & battery portfolio.

  • Regular reporting to investors & stakeholders, on all operational aspects of the portfolio.

  • Oversee and implement performance monitoring indicators and risk management processes

  • Responsible for setting HSE policies and respective compliance across the portfolio.

  • Ensuring both asset classes are operating within their permits and are adhering to all legislative requirements i.e environmental permits & planning requirements etc.

  • Actively contributing to the overall performance of the business.

  • Champion associated compliance, procedures & standards, as part of the Team.

  • Oversee the transition of the asset once acquired into the portfolio, irrespective of whether it is operational or not

Qualifications:

  • Able to demonstrate ability to undertake the above responsibilities

  • Significant experience in infrastructure asset management, with particular focus in renewable energy (solar, BESS & Wind (desirable))

  • A deep technical knowledge of all the multiple technologies in the portfolio but with commercial understanding of risk and how it impacts overall returns.

  • A deep understanding of the economics of all or most of the various sectors and technologies in the portfolio.

  • A minimum 15 years’ relevant experience

  • Degree qualified in STEM discipline.

  • Comfortable with regular office attendance, considering this growing business & associated needs
