Our client is a growing renewable energy contractor specializing in the development, financing, and management of sustainable energy infrastructure across North America. The company provides end-to-end services including project development, capital structuring, and operations & maintenance. They partner with utilities, municipalities, and institutional investors to deliver reliable energy solutions supporting the evolving power landscape.
Position Overview:
This role will oversee operations and maintenance activities across multiple operating renewable energy assets, including utility-scale solar and battery energy storage facilities. The individual will play a key role in site performance, compliance, reporting, and team leadership.
Responsibilities include:
Overseeing day-to-day O&M activities across multiple facilities
Troubleshooting and resolving SCADA and controls-related issues
Working with inverters, hydraulic systems, medium-voltage electrical systems, and related plant equipment
Inventory management and procurement coordination
Performance and operational reporting
Managing special projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Supervising and supporting a small team of O&M technicians
Providing hands-on field support as needed
Qualifications:
Mid-level O&M Technician or Maintenance Manager experience
Background in industrial facilities, with preference for power generation or renewable energy
Experience with control systems / SCADA environments
Medium-voltage electrical experience (Journeyman-level preferred)
Demonstrated leadership and team management capability
Ability to work independently and follow established procedures
Strong communication and project management skills
Willingness to be hands-on in the field when required
