Job description

This is a great opportunity for an Operation and Maintenance Engineer to work alongside a global IPP focusing on their expansive portfolio of Solar PV assets. 

The Opportunity 

  • Technical support for O&M supply portfolio in the solar PV sector during the operating phase
  • Extensive activities in remote monitoring software / data acquisition systems to verify system performance data, respond to alarms and identify equipment, weather, data quality issues
  • Calculate and analyze all relevant key performance indices and make suggestions for improvement 
  • Proactively identify, address, and resolve concerns, risks, and system performance issues
  • Collaborate with external client asset managers, O&M external suppliers and equipment suppliers to control and optimize technical project performance
  • Support for warranty work and performance guarantee analysis for after-sales projects
  • Assistance with the project transfer from construction to operation
  • Creation of regular O&M reports on a monthly and annual basis
  • Creation of maintenance & fault reports
  • Creation of O&M manuals and training on demand
  • Maintain site specific data for equipment such as commissioning records, warranty information, quality inspection reports, photos, inspection documentation, deviation reports, corrective actions, checklists, inventory documents, service visits and customer satisfaction 
  • Establishment of annual operational plans
  • Travel to PV facilities if needed 

The Individual 

  • Successfully completed studies (Bachelor or Master) in engineering (electrical engineering, energy management, mechanical engineering or industrial engineering)
  • At least 1-2 years of professional experience in the field of Solar O&M
  • Good technical knowledge regarding the operation and maintenance of PV systems
  • Knowledge in remote overgrowth systems
  • Knowledge of the systems, processes and protocols that govern the operation and maintenance of industrial PV solar systems and electrical systems
  • High load capacity
  • Good management 
  • Planning and supervision skills 
  • Fluent English spoken and written. Additional foreign languages ​​are an advantage. 
  • Confidence in Microsoft Office Tools
