A prominent Chinese Energy Utility, a leader in delivering reliable and sustainable energy solutions, is expanding its horizons with overseas operations and is presently seeking a proficient Office Manager to join our team in Nigeria. As an Office Manager, you will be an integral component, ensuring the smooth running of our Nigeria office by managing its day-to-day activities. You will align our operations with the overall goals of the organization, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our administrative functions and enhancing our overseas operational capabilities.
Oversee and manage all office operations and procedures.
Coordinate with international and domestic stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
Manage procurement processes and coordinate material and resources allocation.
Ensure office efficiency through development and implementation of office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement.
Handle HR duties, including recruiting, staff onboarding, development, and retention strategies.
Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlord, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time.
Manage contract and price negotiations with office vendors and service providers.
Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
Qualifications and Experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in office management, preferably in the energy sector and/or in an international context.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field.
Strong organizational, planning, and management skills.
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in English; knowledge of Chinese will be a plus.
