This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious Power and Renewables Lawyers to join our client, one of the largest Energy & Climate Change Groups in the world, at an international, future-facing law firm.

About the Role:

Our client advises on a wide range of technologies including offshore and onshore wind, interconnectors and networks, energy storage, solar, electric vehicles, hydrogen, nuclear, carbon capture and storage and the digitisation of energy systems.

Working alongside a highly experienced and specialised team, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the legal, industry and commercial arrangements across the power and renewables sector and become a subject matter expert. The role will offer you exposure to the full spectrum of areas in this sector, including commercial, regulatory, M&A and projects work.

About You:

To support their valued clients in the fast-moving energy transition landscape, they are looking for candidates with a future facing mind-set as well as:

  • Solid experience gained in private practice and/or in-house within the UK or other common law jurisdiction

  • Excellent black letter law skills

  • Experience drafting and negotiating commercial or project agreements in the sector

  • A commitment to professional development and to becoming a deep sector expert
