Senior Manager Transaction Services
Job description
The Role:
Lead multiple cross-border equity and divestment transactions simultaneously, managing internal teams and external advisors
Develop and oversee the preparation of transaction deliverables such as financial models, investor materials, and commercial documentation
Evaluate and review legal and commercial terms, working closely with internal and external legal counsel
Represent the company in investor negotiations, coordinating with partners, management, and other stakeholders to align commercial objectives
Coordinate internal functions including finance, legal, technical, and tax to ensure efficient execution of transactions
Support the selection, appointment, and management of financial and legal advisors
Prepare transaction approval documents, assess key commercial and financial risks, and produce executive summaries
Contribute to investor relationship management and identify potential new investment partners in target regions
Capture lessons learned and support reporting and analysis of M&A performance
The Person:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
8+ years of experience in renewable energy M&A, corporate finance, or related transactional roles, with proven success in executing full-cycle transactions
In-depth understanding of project sales processes, investment structures, and transaction documentation
Familiarity with the development lifecycle of renewable energy projects, including design, engineering, and construction aspects
Advanced financial modeling capabilities and understanding of valuation drivers for renewable energy assets
Strong awareness of global market trends with the ability to adapt strategies to evolving conditions
Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in German or another European language is advantageous
