New Business Manager
Job description
We are partnering with an established Energy Business Intelligence organisation seeking a high-performing New Business Development Manager to drive subscription revenue growth.
You will own the full 360° sales cycle — from prospecting and cold outreach through to closing high-value subscription deals. This is a pure hunter role. (No account management | No inherited pipeline | No farming)
The Role
Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to close
Deliver against revenue-based KPIs and activity targets
Generate new business revenue through proactive prospecting and lead generation
Execute multi-channel outreach (cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn, events)
Identify, qualify, and convert new customers into subscription revenue
Close deals with an average order value of £20,000+
Maintain pipeline visibility using Salesforce or similar CRM
You will be responsible for planning and executing demand generation activity to drive consistent new revenue growth within the energy sector
What We’re Looking For
Minimum 5+ years’ experience in full-cycle B2B new business sales
Proven track record of consistently hitting and exceeding revenue targets
Experience selling subscription-based products or data/business intelligence solutions
Background within the energy sector (renewables highly desirable)
Demonstrated success closing £20k+ average order value deals
Strong cold-calling and outbound prospecting capability
Confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills
Highly driven, target-motivated and competitive mindset
Proficient in Salesforce or similar CRM systems
Experience in market intelligence, data, or research-based subscription sales is a significant advantage.
