​The organization is a leading player in the energy transition sector, dedicated to developing sustainable energy models that benefit both clients and the planet. They covers energy efficiency, on-site green energy production, energy management, and electric mobility to help businesses optimize energy use and reduce their carbon footprint.

As part of its international expansion the company is seeking a Sales & Business Developer based in Bucharest, Romania.

This role will support and report to the Sales Manager in driving commercial growth and developing new business opportunities in the Romanian market.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the development and execution of the national sales plan.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities by proactively prospecting and acquiring new accounts across Romania.

  • Regularly travel within Romania to engage with clients and explore potential partnerships.

  • Build and manage key customer relationships, identifying decision-makers and stakeholders within client organizations.

  • Drive commercial growth to achieve defined business objectives.

  • Negotiate, finalize, and manage contracts, ensuring alignment with company goals and client needs.

  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their energy efficiency needs and uncovering new opportunities.

  • Represent the company at local and national trade shows, exhibitions, and industry conferences.

  • Ensure full compliance with the company policies and standards in Health & Safety, Environment, and Quality Management.

  • Collaborate closely with the International Development Business Unit to align local initiatives with global strategy.

  • Prepare detailed reports on client visits, meetings, and business development activities.

Requirements
  • Degree in Business, Management, or Engineering (or equivalent).

  • Professional experience in a similar sales or business development role.

  • Solid knowledge of the Photovoltaic and/or Energy Efficiency sectors.

  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.

  • Proactive, positive, and motivated attitude.

  • Experience with Key Account Management.

  • High level of rigor, responsibility, and attention to detail.

  • Strong adaptability and team spirit.

  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.

  • Good interpersonal, listening, negotiation, and communication abilities.

  • Proficiency in Romanian and English (spoken and written).

  • IT proficiency (MS Excel, Outlook, Word).

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and prioritize under pressure.

  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
