​Marketing and Communication Associate

Location: Cambridge Hybrid

Salary: £35000 - £45000 basic

TGRC is working with a is a fast-growing Solar company and solutions provider. The company has developed a novel technology that enables rapidly deployable and movable solar fields, and is doing so with major global utilities, independent power producers, and non-government agencies.

Reports into Head of Commercial Operations

Purpose

The key focus of this role will be to provide oversight and support for the design, copywriting, and quality control of company communications and documentation. The role also entails monitoring and maintenance of our social media platforms and website, and continually creating and updating marketing materials.

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in digital communications, visual communications, graphic design, content development, writing, and editing

To succeed in this role:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in communications, marketing, international development, business, or related field

• 5 years’ experience in a similar role

• Full proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, and other tools for web and graphic design (required).

• Experience in mining or energy industries (preferred).

• Full proficiency in MS Office suite including Word and PowerPoint (required).

• Experience in writing for media (preferred).

• Experience with graphic design (required).

• Ability and willingness to work with all levels of the organization.

• Professional English proficiency

• Travel abroad occasionally
