Job title: Energy Markets Manager

TGRC is looking for a knowledgeable Energy Markets Manager with a particular focus on grid connections.

Position Overview:

They are seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Manager with expertise in energy markets and a particular focus on grid connections to join their advisory team. The Manager will play a key role in providing strategic advice and support to clients across a range of energy projects, with a focus on navigating grid connection challenges and opportunities in the Australian market.

Responsibilities:

  1. Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing expert guidance on grid connection strategies, regulatory requirements, and market trends.

  2. Grid Connection Management: Lead grid connection assessments for renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery storage, from feasibility through to commissioning.

  4. Project Management: Oversee the development and implementation of grid connection plans, ensuring alignment with project timelines, budgets, and objectives.

  6. Risk Management: Identify and assess risks related to grid connections, such as congestion, voltage issues, and network constraints, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project outcomes.
