The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to partner with a leading entity in the renewable energy sector to recruit an experienced Electrical Design Engineer. This contract role is centered around the design and implementation of grid connection projects for renewable energy sources.

Responsibilities:

• Design electrical systems and infrastructure for the integration of renewable energy projects into existing grids.

• Collaborate with Independent Power Producers (IPPs) and Utilities to ensure regulatory compliance and efficient project execution.

• Conduct feasibility studies and system analyses, including load flow, stability, and short circuit analysis.

• Prepare technical specifications, drawings, and engineering documents for grid connection projects.

• Provide technical support during construction, commissioning, and operational phases.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. A Master’s degree or higher will be advantageous.

• Proven experience in electrical design engineering, specifically with grid connections for renewable energy projects.

• Familiarity with working alongside IPPs and Utilities is highly preferred.

• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory frameworks relevant to electrical infrastructure and renewable energy.

• Excellent communication and project management skills.

This role is based in the vibrant city of Copenhagen and offers a competitive day rate of €500. The position is for a fixed term of 14 months, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to the green energy transition in a leading renewable energy market.
