​Green Recruitment has partnered with an industry leading advisory firm to recruit for a Manager specialised in audit with a focus on clients within the sustainability, net-zero and energy verticals. With an emphasis on risk consulting and compliance this role would encompass advisory across environmental and social governance for multinational clients reporting into the national lead for sustainability.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Engage in assurance engagements and various project risk advisory projects with a focus on climate change and sustainability (internal audit, compliance etc.)

• Advise clients on their aspirations of fulfilling various sustainable development goals in line with social and environmental governance metrics

• Research and provide advisory across the risks and opportunities related to the effects of climate change

• Develop and maintain budgetary guidelines for projects to ensure there are no major overruns

• Influence clients at senior levels in different business environments to drive positive business outcomes

The ideal candidate will have:

• 2+ years experience within professional services or ESG advisory environment

• Tertiary qualification in business/commerce or environmental engineering

• Passion for ESG, energy compliance, audit and reporting

• Business development background desirable
