​We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented BESS Service Contract Manager to join our team. In this critical role, you will oversee the full lifecycle of service agreements, ensuring contracts are structured, negotiated, and executed in alignment with business objectives and operational requirements.

You will manage contract development, ensure compliance with commercial terms, and foster strong relationships with vendors and clients to support reliable service delivery. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with expert negotiation skills to navigate complex contract structures, mitigate risk, and resolve disputes efficiently.

Working cross-functionally with operations, engineering, finance, and field service teams, you will ensure service agreements support operational performance and meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of service contracts from initiation through renewal or closeout.

  • Negotiate commercial terms and conditions to balance business objectives and risk exposure.

  • Monitor compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), KPIs, and performance metrics.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define service scope, deliverables, and performance expectations.

  • Coordinate activities of Field Service Technologists and third-party subcontractors performing maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and training.

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and vendor-related risks.

  • Maintain a centralized contract repository to track obligations, milestones, and renewal dates.

  • Provide guidance and support to business units on contractual interpretation and compliance matters.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Contract Management, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of engineering or equivalent technical experience.

  • Proven experience in contract management or procurement within a service-oriented or industrial environment.

  • Strong negotiation skills with a solid understanding of contract law and commercial terms.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency with contract management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of mechanical, thermal, electrical industrial equipment, or electric grid markets is a plus.
