​Project Manager - Construction and Pipelines

Job Overview

TGRC, a premier recruitment agency specializing in construction and engineering roles, is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Project Manager to oversee various construction projects with a focus on pipelines and chemical construction sites. This opportunity is based in sunny California and offers a competitive hourly rate of $60-$80. This is a 12-month contract position with potential for renewal, depending on project needs and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning and Management: Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communication documents.

  • Scheduling and Time Management: Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools. Track project milestones and deliverables, adjusting project plans as needed.

  • Budget Management: Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Propose and manage the project budget.

  • Quality Control: Ensure project outputs meet quality assurance standards. Regularly review deliverables before passing them to clients.

  • Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure that all aspects of health and safety are rigorously managed and upheld throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain compliance with all relevant H&S regulations and standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience: At least 2 years of project management experience in construction, pipelines, or chemical construction sectors.

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred.

  • Certifications: Possession of all relevant H&S tickets is required.

  • Skills: Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, proficient in project management software.

Compensation

The role offers an hourly rate of $60 to $80, based on experience and qualifications. This contract position includes extensive opportunities for professional development in a supportive and challenging environment.
