Job Title: Low Carbon Economic Growth Officer
Location: Beijing, China
Salary: CNY 500,000 per annum
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Our client, an international climate change NGO, is seeking a Low Carbon Economic Growth Officer to join their team in Beijing. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies that promote low-carbon economic growth in China, with the aim of mitigating the effects of climate change.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct research on low-carbon economic growth strategies and identify opportunities for implementation in China.
Design and implement projects that promote low-carbon economic growth, including the development of sustainable energy solutions, the promotion of green technology, and the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
Collaborate with stakeholders in the public and private sector, including government agencies, NGOs, and businesses, to build partnerships and promote sustainable economic development.
Develop and manage budgets for low-carbon economic growth projects, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.
Monitor and evaluate the impact of projects on low-carbon economic growth, and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field such as environmental science, economics, or sustainable development.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of low-carbon economic growth, including project design and implementation.
Knowledge of the Chinese economic landscape and experience working in China.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement innovative solutions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders.
Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
