The Role

We are currently on the hunt for an experienced Lead BESS (Battery Energy Storage System) Engineer to join our client’s team in Taipei. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of BESS projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of efficiency and reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering design and implementation of BESS projects from inception through to completion.

• Conduct thorough technical evaluations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments for BESS projects.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of BESS solutions with renewable energy systems.

• Provide expert technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring best practices are followed.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to energy storage.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related field.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in BESS design, implementation, and optimization.

• In-depth knowledge of energy storage technologies, power electronics, and control systems.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

• Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both English and Mandarin.

• A passion for renewable energy and a commitment to sustainable practices.
