​Land Acquisition Manager – Solar, Wind & BESS Projects

The Green Recruitment Company are working alongside a leading renewable energy developer who are dedicated to driving forward the energy transition. They are looking for a Land Acquisition Manager to join their team in the UK.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, review, and maintain an origination strategy to deliver solar farms and BESS projects.

• Identify, appraise and secure suitable renewable energy development opportunities.

• Manage, negotiate and secure land option and lease agreements, including any other relevant property agreements, to facilitate the successful delivery, acquisition or disposal of renewable energy and low carbon projects.

• Establish and safeguard key relationships with landowners, agents, and consultants.

• Contribute to securing satisfactory project opportunities and to collaborate closely with our grid, operations and planning teams.

• Lead and/or support the front-end development, planning, management, coordination and financial control of renewable energy projects.

Your Profile:

• Proven experience with utility-scale wind or solar farms and Energy Project development cycles.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organisational levels.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Land Management, or related discipline.
