​The Role:

• Deal Sourcing: Actively seek out and identify potential investment opportunities in the renewable energy sector through research, industry relationships, and market analysis

• Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential projects, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and market research to assess their viability and potential returns.

• Financial Modeling: Create and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate the financial performance and projections of renewable energy projects

• Risk Analysis: Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with renewable energy investments, including regulatory, environmental, and operational risks

• Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, policy changes, and emerging technologies in the renewable energy sector to make informed investment decisions

• Support Investment Decision: Present findings and recommendations to the investment team, contribute to investment committee discussions, and assist in making well-informed investment decisions

• Project Management: Collaborate with project development teams to support the execution of investment projects, including managing timelines, budgets, and performance metrics

• Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, developers, government agencies, and other industry stakeholders

The Individual:

• Master's degree in finance, economics, or a related field; advanced degree (MBA, CFA, etc.) is a plus

• Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in renewable energy, infrastructure, or project finance

• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools

• Business proficiency in German & English
