Location: Lincolnshire

Contract Type: 12-month contract

Day Rate: £500

The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to announce a spectacular opportunity for an HVDC Project Manager to oversee a cutting-edge Utility Scale Renewable Energy Project in Lincolnshire. This is an exceptional opportunity for a dedicated professional to lead a key initiative on a 12-month contract with a competitive day rate of £500.

About the Role:

In this vital leadership position, you will direct the integration and implementation of high-voltage direct current (HVDC) systems within a large-scale renewable energy project. Your strategic oversight and technical expertise will ensure the project is executed flawlessly, meeting all technical, budgetary, and time constraints. You will manage a diverse team and collaborate with stakeholders to propel the project to its successful completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, including acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants.

  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

  • Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.

  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel and monitor project performance.

  • Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path, planning for contingencies and potential risks.

  • Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership in managing HVDC projects, specifically within the renewable energy industry.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-judged decisions in complex situations.

  • Excellent communication skills, proficient in engaging and influencing stakeholders and project teams.

  • Experience with budget management and oversight of large-scale projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field.
