Location: England, UK

Rate: £500 per day

Duration: 6-12 months contract, full-time

Job Description:

Our client, a leading renewable energy developer, is seeking an experienced HVDC Project Manager to join their team for projects in England. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) projects, including design, construction, commissioning, and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the HVDC projects, including design, construction, commissioning, and handover

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and manage risks and opportunities in the projects

  • Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources

  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements

  • Manage and develop relationships with project stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and partners

  • Provide regular reports on project status, progress, and risks to senior management

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field

  • At least 10 years of experience in HVDC projects, with at least 5 years in a project management role

  • Strong knowledge of HVDC principles, tools, and techniques

  • Experience in managing large-scale renewable energy projects

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Proficiency in English is required

The successful candidate will be offered a day rate of £500, along with opportunities for career growth and development. This is a contract position with a duration of 6-12 months, depending on project needs.
