Position Available: HSE Manager

Location: Shanghai (with 50% travel)

This role, based in Shanghai with significant travel requirements, offers the chance to make a substantial impact within the renewable energy sector. Role Overview:

The HSE Manager will be instrumental in developing and implementing health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and programs across various project sites and facilities. Your expertise will ensure compliance with all relevant HSE regulations, reduce risks, and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and oversee HSE policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations and standards.

  • Conduct regular HSE audits, inspections, and assessments across various sites, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.

  • Lead incident investigations, reporting, and analysis to prevent reoccurrences and enhance safety measures.

  • Provide HSE training and awareness programs for employees, contractors, and stakeholders to foster a strong safety culture.

  • Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to integrate HSE considerations into business operations and project planning.

  • Stay updated with emerging HSE trends, laws, and best practices to continuously improve the organization's HSE performance.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience as an HSE Manager, preferably within the renewable energy, manufacturing, or EPC sectors.

  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Effective communication and leadership abilities, with a track record of driving HSE culture across an organization.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to various project sites.

  • A bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, engineering, or a related field.
