My client are a household name Private Equity firm who are looking for a Head of Grid to manage the grid connections of their DCO Solar & Storage projects. They are planning a 5GW pipeline and the successful candidate will be given an equity stake in the business.

Purpose of Role

This role will play an integral role within the organisation’s delivery function. They will lead on the management and delivery of these grid connection arrangements with the relevant counterparties. The role is an opportunity to contribute to and manage all elements of this key development area, and to contribute specialist knowledge to the business’ strategic growth agenda.

Qualifications / Skills Sought:

We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 10 years’ experience within the power / energy sector. Candidates should have strong experience of the grid connection process for large scale power generation, and be able to demonstrate a full understanding of the standards and processes associated with distribution and transmission connected power projects, including knowledge of key aspects of regulatory regimes.​
