​Job Title: Grid Connection Manager (Taiwan)

Location: Taiwan

Salary: Competitive salary

Our client, an international renewable energy developer, is looking for a Grid Connection Manager to join their team in Taiwan. As the Grid Connection Manager, you will be responsible for managing grid connection processes and approvals for solar projects in Taiwan.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement grid connection strategies and plans for solar projects in Taiwan.

  • Manage the grid connection process, including liaising with local authorities and utilities to obtain grid connection approvals and permits.

  • Coordinate with internal teams, such as project management and engineering, to ensure grid connection requirements are met.

  • Conduct technical studies and analyses to evaluate grid connection options and identify potential issues.

  • Monitor and manage project timelines and budgets related to grid connection activities.

  • Manage relationships with key stakeholders, such as utility companies and local authorities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering, renewable energy, or a related field.

  • At least 5 years of experience in grid connection management, preferably in the solar energy or related industry.

  • Excellent understanding of grid connection requirements and regulations in Taiwan.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze technical data and identify solutions to complex problems.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Excellent written and spoken English and Mandarin.
