Duration: 12-month fixed-term contract

Experience: 1-2 years (energy projects preferred)
Salary: £38,000 per annum

Job Description

As a Geotechnical Engineer, you'll play a key role in our diverse range of projects, pushing the boundaries of what's possible in renewable energy and modern infrastructure. Here’s what you will get involved with:

  • Site Investigation: Lead and conduct thorough site investigations, ensuring all data collected supports project integrity and sustainability.

  • Technical Analysis: Utilize cutting-edge tools to analyze geological data and help craft innovative solutions for complex geotechnical problems.

  • Design Input: Assist in the design process for new structures, focusing on sustainability and efficiency from the ground up.

  • Collaboration and Leadership: Work alongside a team of inspired professionals who are as eager as you are to transform the engineering landscape.

  • Risk Assessment: Proactively identify potential geotechnical risks and develop strategies to mitigate them effectively.

  • Communication: Articulate complex geotechnical concepts and solutions to stakeholders and team members alike.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geology, or related field.

  • Demonstrated experience in geotechnical engineering, with a preference for backgrounds in renewable energy or infrastructure projects.

  • A knack for problem-solving and a keen analytical mind.

  • Proficiency in relevant engineering software.

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

  • Right to work in the UK.
