​Field Service Engineer - Solar PV & BESS Projects

The Green Recruitment Company is excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Field Service Engineer to join our team, working with Solar Photovoltaic (PV) and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for a leading Renewable Energy Asset Management Company.

Location: Maryland

Contract Duration: 12 months

Hourly Rate: $35-$45 per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, servicing, and repair of Solar PV and BESS equipment.

  • Performing on-site diagnostics, troubleshooting, and effective problem resolution.

  • Regular project status reporting and maintaining accurate documentation.

  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety standards at all times.

  • Providing expert technical support and guidance to both clients and team members.

  • Collaborating with project managers and engineering teams to ensure optimal project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Field Service Engineer, preferably within the renewable energy sector.

  • In-depth knowledge of Solar PV and BESS technologies.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and diagnostic skills.

  • Capable of working both independently and as part of a diverse team.

  • Relevant technical qualifications or industry-specific certifications.

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed within Maryland.

  • A commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and quality.
