The Role:

• Join the Carbon and Renewable energy Trading Desk as a portfolio manager for EUAs

• Develop a deep understanding of the EU ETS market, including buyers, sellers, and competitors

• Working with trading teams, Market Risk & others to develop accurate pricing model to enable scalability of EUA portfolio

• Develop and maintain a portfolio of new customers and counterparts active on the certificates market, prioritise your leads and turn them into clients and transactions

• Conduct day-to-day execution of trades and provide customers with essential market intelligence-analysis to support pricing, trading, and risk mitigation strategies

The Individual:

• Up to 5 years’ experience of trading with EU ETS or Energy markets (Gas, Electricity trading etc.) or related market OTC and/or on Exchange

• Clear demonstrable understanding of EU ETS with in depth knowledge of technical, fundamental, and regulatory indicators to trade

• Strong attention to detail, good with numbers and Excel

• Excellent numeracy skills, be calm and confident and able to respond calmly under duress.

• Relevant degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administration is required
