EPC Project Coordinator – Solar PV
Job description
TGRC is working for a multi-technology renewable energy IPP. Our client is a new business which has been growing exponentially and have been very successful. They are currently active in multiple countries in Europe, and they have already secured a pipeline of over 4 GW of solar PV and onshore wind projects in Europe.
They are currently looking for an EPC project coordinator to join their growing team in Italy.
The main responsibilities will be:
- Working in the EPC team and reporting to the technical director 
- Oversee the construction and the project activities from a coordination perspective across both Italian and European projects 
- Monitor and manage progress of key consultants and contractors, regularly reviewing programme milestones and identifying risks to the project budget and timeline 
- Manage multiple workstreams simultaneously across projects at different stages to include supporting with permit variations/conditions, and ensuring that commitments made during the development and pre-construction phase are implemented appropriately and on time 
- Be proactive in problem-solving, managing, and coordinating key decisions during project delivery 
- Attend site meetings/site inspection activities where necessary 
- Review technical, permit and design documentation to ensure that projects are realised efficiently and in line with technical and permit requirements 
- The majority of the job will be in Italy, with some expectations to travel on the project sites on occasion. This might include international sites 
Required experience:
- Experience in working in an EPC, IPP, or as a consultancy company in a related field. 
- Experience as a senior project engineer or project manager 
- Full professional English 
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role in the renewable sector 
- A degree in Engineering or similar
