About the Company

Our client is a leading EPC contractor specialising in the development and delivery of renewable energy and infrastructure projects across China and Asia. With a strong track record in solar PV and high-voltage (HV) grid connections, the company is committed to quality, safety, and timely execution of utility-scale energy projects.

As the business continues to grow, the company is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager to oversee HV and renewable infrastructure projects, ensuring seamless coordination from design to commissioning.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the execution of large-scale renewable energy projects, with a focus on high-voltage works. This includes managing timelines, budgets, technical requirements, and stakeholder relationships to ensure successful project delivery. Experience with HV systems is essential, and familiarity with solar PV construction is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle delivery of renewable energy EPC projects, with a strong focus on HV works (substations, transmission lines, grid connection)

• Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of engineering, procurement, and construction activities

• Ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards

• Manage internal teams, contractors, and external stakeholders to meet project milestones

• Monitor project performance, budgets, and timelines, and implement corrective actions where required

• Facilitate site inspections, audits, and technical reviews throughout the project lifecycle

• Support coordination with grid operators and regulatory bodies to secure timely approvals and connections

• Produce regular reports on project progress, risk management, and cost control

• Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure aligned delivery

Candidate Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing infrastructure or energy projects, including high-voltage installations

• Track record of successful EPC project delivery in renewable energy, preferably solar PV

• Strong understanding of HV systems, grid codes, and electrical infrastructure

• Experience with project management tools and reporting systems

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

• Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field

• Fluent in Mandarin; English proficiency is an advantage

• Based in Beijing or willing to relocate
