Project Manager – Solar PV Development
About the Project
We are actively seeking a skilled Project Manager who specializes in renewable energy projects, particularly in the area of Solar PV development. This pivotal role, based in Worcestershire, involves a 12-month contract where you will lead initiatives aimed at harnessing solar energy to meet contemporary energy needs.
Job Description
Project Leadership: Direct all phases of Solar PV development projects from inception through to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the main point of contact for all project stakeholders, managing relationships and communications to ensure project objectives are met.
Resource Allocation: Efficiently manage both human and material resources, ensuring optimal deployment for project success.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Identify potential risks to the project timeline or outcomes, devising and implementing strategies to mitigate these risks effectively.
Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all project activities adhere to national and local regulations concerning solar energy, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
Reporting and Documentation: Keep all stakeholders informed through regular, detailed reports on project status, challenges, and milestones.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Project Management, Renewable Energy, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience: Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale solar energy projects, with deep knowledge of the technical, financial, and operational aspects of Solar PV systems.
Leadership and Team Management: Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage multidisciplinary teams.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively negotiating and resolving conflicts while maintaining beneficial relationships.
Problem-solving: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and provide practical solutions under pressure.
