Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineering Technical Leader to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of engineering projects from inception to completion. This includes coordination with cross-functional teams, ensuring project objectives are achieved, and delivering outcomes on time and within budget.
As a key member of the engineering team, you will support and align closely with the commissioning manager throughout the entire project lifecycle—from planning through final handover to the customer. The role also involves identifying and mitigating risks, resolving technical issues, and fostering a collaborative, solution-oriented environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in engineering, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple complex projects. A deep understanding of project management methodologies is essential.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with defined goals and timelines
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and technical deliverables
Review and develop technical specifications to ensure alignment with customer requirements and contractor deliverables
Develop and maintain project schedules, resource allocations, and budget plans
Monitor project progress, addressing any issues or delays proactively
Provide technical leadership and support to project teams, assisting with problem-solving as needed
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clear and accurate project requirements
Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
Minimum of 8 years of experience in electrical engineering, project engineering, or a related role
Expertise in power systems, battery systems, and controls
Experience in the optimization of DC and AC-coupled battery energy storage systems (ESS), system integration, and ESS controller design
Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies
Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
