​Energy Storage Development Manager

​The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to be partnered with a specialist Developer, Owner, Operator of renewable heat and flexible energy assets. The business is a market-leader in delivering on-demand renewable energy to support the transition to a low-carbon economy.

As the business enters another phase of expansion, the requirement for a new, Development Manager to join the Team has arisen.

​Responsibilities;

Reporting into the Head of Development, this role will be responsible for the BESS pipeline, ensuring the schemes reach financial close and support the transition from the development team to the delivery team.

Including;

• Planning applications

• Condition discharge

• Legal agreements (leases, easements, substation sublease etc)

• Liaison with in-house grid team and DNOs

• Supporting early delivery activities including Geotech studies etc.

• Support ad hoc opportunities for new projects as they arise.

Requirements;

• Degree educated ideally in a technical, engineering, Geography, Geology, Economics or Environmental Science field (2:1 or 1st class honours degree)

• 3-5 years work experience as a Development Manager within the renewables sector

• Experience in preparing or instruction consultants, solicitors and contractors.
