​Energy Storage Development Manager

The Green Recruitment Company is delighted to be partnered with a specialist Developer, Owner, Operator of renewable heat and flexible energy assets. The business is a market-leader in delivering on-demand renewable energy to support the transition to a low-carbon economy.

As the business enters another phase of expansion, the requirement for a new, Development Manager to join the Team has arisen.

Responsibilities;

Reporting into the Head of Development, this role will be responsible for managing projects through the whole development process, from site identification all the way to financial close and handover to the construction team.

• Site origination

• Support grid connection process

• Obtain planning approvals

• Securing legal and commercial agreements

• Managing technical on and off-site designs

• Obtaining relevant environmental permits

• Liaison with consultants, technology and connections suppliers

• Managing the project budget

• Mentorship of junior members of the team

Requirements;

• Degree educated with a minimum 5 years’ experience in development of similar energy schemes.

• Understanding and experience of property agreements relevant to developing energy projects.

• A proven track record in obtaining planning consents and managing numerous projects simultaneously with a solid understanding of the energy development processes.
