Energy Market & Regulation Analyst

The Green Recruitment Company are delighted to have partnered with a mission-led, leading global operator specialised in the provision of renewable energy solutions, to identifying a new Energy Market & Regulation Analyst, to join their dynamic London team.

The business to date has delivered over 5GW of renewable energy and secured over $3,50bn in project financing.

Responsibilities:

Analysis of technology evolution: support in the analysis of the competitive situation of new potential technologies: research regulation and the market/cost evolution, potential growth, and geographical areas
Market analysis and modelling: monitor the regulatory and electricity market environment within the country.
International development: support in screening process and design of the market strategy entering in new countries.
Regulatory assessment and support in advocacy tasks.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics
A post-graduate degree at Master’s level or equivalent would be an advantage and a multidisciplinary background an asset
+4 years of experience in strategy or management consulting with main focus in the Energy & Utilities industry
Good knowledge of the energy sector including policies and regulatory aspects with relevance in the area of power and energy markets
