​Country Manager (Sustainability Consulting)

Job Description:

A Highly Successful Sustainability Consulting firm are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Country Manager to lead their sustainability consulting operations in Australia. The Country Manager will play a key role in driving growth, building relationships and delivering high-quality sustainability consulting services to their clients in the region.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategy for the growth of sustainability consulting services in the country

• Build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders in the region

• Lead and manage a team of sustainability consultants

• Develop and manage sustainability-related projects and initiatives

• Stay current on industry trends, regulations and best practices in the country

• Communicate and collaborate with internal teams and external partners

• Develop and maintain a budget for the country operations

• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration)

• At least 7-10 years of experience in sustainability consulting or a related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks and certifications

• Experience leading and managing teams

• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

• Experience in business development and sales

• Familiarity with local laws and regulations

The Country Manager will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and will be required to work independently and as part of a team. This is a full-time position
