Job Title: Contract Manager

Location: Brisbane, Queensland, Australia (Hybrid)

TGRC is proud to partner with a global leader in the renewable energy transition, with an exciting pipeline of green energy projects in Australia. Our client is looking for a Contracts Manager to lead the creation of new procedures and manage the contracts and tender processes of their new wind farm development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively manage and run all up and downstream contracts.

  • Assist the Project Director and Finance Manager in the financial management of the Project.

  • Lead the preparation of tenders, and coordinate the review and execution of new contracts and procedures.

  • Work with the Project Director in preparing project reporting requirements.

  • Manage the payment obligations under all contracts.

  • Responsible for the preparation and submission of all contractual correspondence, notices, variations, and claims under the deadline.

  • Guide in identifying and tracking contractual risks (estimating LDs).

  • Manage records of all insurances required to be taken out under the contracts by the counterparties.

  • Coordinate compliance with all contractual legal requirements.

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s Law, Business, Finance, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.

  • 5+ years experience in contract administration/commercial management in energy or large-scale infrastructure projects (EPC/EPCM experience is advantageous).

  • Experience working with project owners or Tier 1/Tier 2 contractors is preferred.

  • Understanding of Construction/Contract Law and ability to review commercial and contractual documents

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including contractual letter writing.

  • Confident in taking initiative and working in a fast-paced environment

  • Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team.
