​Title: Construction Manager

Location: England, United Kingdom (On-site)

A leading utility-scale EPC company is seeking dynamic and experienced project managers to spearhead the organization and execution of key client projects in the solar construction sector.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with site engineers, design and engineering teams, project directors, and financial teams. Additionally, they will engage externally with subcontractors, equipment suppliers, and clients/developers to ensure timely completion and adherence to our stringent quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee project lifecycle from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and budget compliance.

  • Conduct comprehensive site surveys to assess local conditions impacting design and research local supply costs for project budgeting purposes.

  • Collaborate with the design and engineering team to review project documents and client-provided information throughout the design phase.

  • Work closely with the project director to develop and monitor detailed project budgets.

  • Develop and manage a detailed programme of works (PoW) to monitor project progress effectively.

  • Generate and deliver regular progress reports to internal stakeholders and clients.

  • Supervise project implementation activities to ensure compliance with QHSE standards.

  • Conduct risk assessments and proactively address on-site challenges in collaboration with site engineers, escalating to the project director when necessary.

  • Manage relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams.

  • Facilitate smooth handover of projects to the internal O&M team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.

  • Proven experience in project management, particularly in utility-scale solar construction.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
