This exciting, forward-thinking business seek a Communications professional to join the organisation in an interim, 12 Month Fixed Term capacity (Maternity Cover), to step in, retain momentum around their existing communications & marketing presence – but also, lead on other mandates as they arise.
Role Responsibilities
Take ownership of the development & implementation of the global, multi-media communications strategy for the business.
Act as the main press contact and media liaison for the company, responding to press inquiries in a timely manner as spokesperson, and setting up interviews with group CEO when required.
Take ownership & create engaging press releases, articles, newsletters, marketing materials on related issues & partnerships.
Plan and manage design for internal/external marketing materials.
Develop & design communication strategies for stakeholders, NGO’s, Local Governments (Worldwide), policy makers & build customer recognition.
Work collaboratively to instigate new ideas & strategies, in order to remain current & forward thinking.
Build relationships at all levels with Stakeholders.
Requirements:
Degree educated – strong preference towards Communications, Journalism, Public Relations.
Demonstrated experience working within a similar role, within Sustainability or Renewable Energy.
Verbal/written communication skills; Outstanding
Exp. creating targeted content
Comfortable with public speaking.
Previous experience working in events (desirable)
Crisis communications experience (desirable)
