Information Technology Support Specialist

Job description

​We’re looking for a 1st Line Support Engineer to join a growing solar energy company based in Farnham.

This is your chance to bring your solid technical support experience to a company that’s driving sustainable change across the UK.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Acting as the first point of contact for all IT queries (hardware, software, network & applications)

  • Logging, diagnosing and resolving support tickets with a proactive, customer-focused approach

  • Escalating issues to senior engineers where necessary

  • Supporting end-users both on-site and remotely

  • Helping keep internal systems running smoothly as the business continues to scale

What We’re Looking For
  • A few years’ experience in a 1st line or service desk role

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows environments, O365, networking basics, hardware issues

  • Clear communication and a friendly, professional manner

  • Someone motivated, curious and eager to grow within a supportive tech team

  • A passion for clean energy is a bonus — but not essential
