Summary: 

An international renewable energy finance company are seeking an Assistant Manager who will compliment the current asset finance capabilities of their Sydney team. 

The company are seeking an experienced renewable energy finance professional who has experience in asset management from either a banking background, project finance, advisory firm or from an asset management company. The main purpose of the role is to optimize the value of the company’s current renewable energy portfolio.

Your responsibilities:

As Assistant Manager your main responsibilities will be to:

·       Manage the current renewable energy portfolio with the assistance of the wider asset management and investment teams

·       Manage a variety of company operations including accounting, tax, compliance, O&M contractor selection, refinancing, strategic finance, asset optimisation and investor reporting

·       You will be required to review project finance models with the assistance from internal Valuation Analysts

·       Responsibility for guaranteeing best business practice for the company’s financial processes

 

Skills, qualifications and experience required from you:

·       Asset management experience on renewable energy projects

·       Project finance experience in the Australian energy sector

·       Related academic background e.g. finance, commerce or economics

·       Good team player with excellent communication skills

·       A keen interested in the renewable energy sector

·       Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

·       Eligibility to live and work in Australia
