Asset Manager
London (Hybrid)
£50,000-£60,000
The Green Recruitment Company are working with a well-established, energy infrastructure business focussed on energy projects (Investment/Development/Asset Management) to identify and engage a brand-new Asset Manager, with an aim of designing bespoke solutions for their key stakeholders, across both public and private sectors.

Key responsibilities:
Responsible for the implementation, development, and ongoing delivery of asset management for energy assets.
Generating Asset Management approaches suitable to a variety of project sizes and types (Energy Investment / Renewables / Energy Efficiency / Distributed Energy Network ESCo / Real Estate ESCo / Real Estate Energy Management). In each case the Asset Management approach will be focused on delivering value in support of the asset and the relevant client’s core business goals.
Oversee business plans, budgets, capital projects and other initiatives on existing assets.
Setting, managing, and controlling budgets for projects. Working with HB Directors to inform the Business Plans and allocate or procure resources appropriately.
Ensuring compliance across the portfolios with project contracts, HSE, regulation and policy.
Working closely with the wider team to understand and input into the asset development process of projects prior to entering asset management, including ensuring continuous improvement and feedback.
Implementing best practice asset management across the projects / portfolios (e.g., to ISO 55000 series or similar).
About you:
Experience in a relevant asset management role
An understanding of development process and construction / operational contracts and have experience of negotiating and managing relevant contracts.
The ability to manage your own time to achieve delivery goals across multiple projects and sites
Sound working knowledge of ESG reporting as applied to real estate, decentralised energy, and the financial sector
Project document and commercial experience to identify and understand risks and mitigates
Experience of developing and implementing performance management frameworks including KPIs
Sound working knowledge of project finance and financial reporting
Excellent knowledge of relevant legislative requirements
A relevant degree or equivalent financial / technical qualification.
Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
Excellent data management skills
The ability to work under pressure and to deliver high quality work to tight deadlines.
