As an Analyst in Melbourne, Australia, you will provide insightful analysis, enhancing clients' decision-making. You will engage in issue identification, hypothesis formation, analysis, and recommendations. We seek candidates with technical expertise, leadership, and team-oriented performance. Key responsibilities:

  • Develop timely and rigorous quantitative analyses to enhance clients' decision-making processes.

  • Collaborate closely with our modelling team to structure economic problems into quantifiable analyses and extract insights from model results.

  • Contribute to product development by identifying new opportunities and expanding our capabilities.

  • Engage with clients to thoroughly understand their requirements.

  • Effectively communicate findings to clients.

What we are looking for:

Required attributes:

  • Preferably 1-2 years of experience in the energy/power market sector.

  • A degree from a university in a quantitative subject (Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Engineering, Finance).

  • Ability to collect, analyse, and interpret complex quantitative data and information

  • Demonstrated strong performance in team-oriented environments.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
