Job description
An established energy transition investment platform is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its growing team. The firm focuses on scaling next-generation fuel and low-carbon infrastructure businesses across Europe, partnering with developers, operators and technology providers in advanced fuels, bioenergy and industrial decarbonisation.
This is a high-exposure opportunity within a lean, entrepreneurial team offering genuine responsibility and full lifecycle investment experience.
The Role
The successful candidate will work directly with senior leadership across:
Financial modelling (project and platform level)
Evaluation of new investment opportunities
Commercial due diligence and risk analysis
Transaction execution support
Portfolio monitoring and value creation initiatives
Investment committee and investor materials
You will gain exposure across the full deal lifecycle — from origination through to execution and portfolio management.
Candidate Profile
We are interested in candidates with:
1–3 years’ experience in:
Investment banking (energy/infrastructure/industrials)
Big Four corporate finance/transaction services
Infrastructure or private equity
Strong financial modelling capability (project finance and/or LBO modelling preferred)
A clear interest in energy transition and real assets
Strong analytical and commercial judgement
High attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
CFA (or progress toward) is advantageous but not essential.
