Our client, a leading renewable energy manufacturer based in Changzhou, is seeking a dynamic and innovative Zero Carbon Director to join their team. As the Zero Carbon Director, you will be instrumental in shaping the company's zero-carbon strategy and driving the transition towards sustainable and environmentally friendly operations.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the company's zero-carbon strategy and roadmap, aligning it with global sustainability goals.

• Identify and implement sustainable practices and technologies to reduce the company's carbon footprint and enhance energy efficiency.

• Drive innovation and research initiatives to develop new zero-carbon technologies and solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices across manufacturing processes, supply chain operations, and product design.

• Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to zero-carbon initiatives and renewable energy.

• Establish and maintain relationships with industry partners, research institutions, and government agencies to drive sustainability collaborations.

• Monitor and report on key performance indicators related to carbon emissions, energy consumption, and sustainability goals.

• Educate and engage employees at all levels to foster a culture of sustainability and environmental stewardship.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. A sustainability-focused degree is a plus.

• Proven experience (X years) in leading sustainability or zero-carbon initiatives within a manufacturing or renewable energy organization.

• Deep knowledge of renewable energy technologies, carbon reduction strategies, and sustainable practices.

• Strong understanding of relevant regulations, certifications, and standards related to sustainability.

• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate sustainability into business opportunities.

• Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on driving change and fostering a culture of sustainability.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin.
